Social media etiquette is refers to the rules of posting online and the consequences that come along with posting things. Kyrie Irving is a professional NBA player who reposted a link to a film labeled as Anti-Semitic. He received a lot of hate for it especially because he has fans of all races and cultures. For some, seeing him supporting this is very upsetting towards them, and for others, they agree with him. Overall, it does not matter your view on the topic but it does matter for Irving because of the backlash he has received online. He was suspended for 5 games, and is still receiving hate for this situation now that he is back playing. This situation just teaches a lesson to keep your opinions to yourself and to not post everything you think online. Although, this did not majorly affect his career, it has affected others thoughts on him as a person and player. This will now never be forgotten because once it is on the internet it is there forever, even if you try to delete something, someone has already started a story on the topic and fans have screenshots. Once something is done online, it can never really be undone.
